However not every buyer is accorded this privilege by the retailer. it actually depends on the buyer to set the dish. here are some steps for installing the satellite dish easily. You will need to have the following: Complete Satellite System , RG6 Coax Cable , Satellite Signal Meter, Compass ,6" Magnetic Level OR Post Level, 7/16" wrench, Drill , 1/2" nut driver bit , 2" lag bolts , Zip Ties OR Black Tape and Staples OR Screw Clips. Look for a suitable place around your compound to raise the dish. The site should have clear sky line and be able face the direction as instructed. there should be no interference while searching for the signal. The next important part of dish satellite installation is to bolt down the mast firmly while using a level and don't forget to keep the mast plumb in all direction. ensure that the bold must be tightly fixed and it should be plumbed well. after this now place the antenna dish on mast and don't not tighten the bolts. Put your coax cable through the dish then out where we have the LNBF and then connect the cable. now both LNBF to satellite dish. Do not tighten the bolts to much. now read the manual guidance for installing the satellite dish in order to confirm the correct skew and raise the dish according to locality. If a neighbor has a receiver then it will be easy to copy how his/her is raised. now connect the coax cable to the meter and turn the television on for confirming the signals if the meter is not available if you.Turn to the dish to the direction as instructed on dish satellite installation manual and check your meter until it show you have locate a satellite signal or by looking at your neighbors dish. If you have found the signal now bolt the dish. Horizontal adjustment can be great but you can adjust the vertical. now let the reflector of the dish rotate freely. now by moving the reflector by up and down determine the signal efficiently. now connect the coax by taking it from dish to receiver. Connect the receiver to the television then run the required test by the manufacture by reading the dish satellite installation manual.
