If you are not happy with your weight after having a baby, don't worry. You can lose those pounds without much hassle if you know what to do. You may be thinking that you will not have the time to exercise because your baby is so young that it needs to have you super close by almost all of the time. Of course, your baby will be taking lots of naps. If you get into the habit of doing your exercise whenever your baby takes a nap (if you don't need a nap yourself), you will see results in no time! Here are three exercises you can do during that nap time that will supercharge your day and leave you feeling and looking your best. The Reverse Curl: Women who have just given birth will have to work hard to get their abdominal muscles back to normal and reverse curls can really help with this. For this exercise, lie on the floor facing the ceiling and keep your knees bent. Your feet need to be just above your hips, your arms need to be lying on the floor next to your trunk, your head rests on the floor, your neck is relaxed and, as you breathe in and out, you bring your abs in and lift your hips off of the floor to the same levels as your ribs. Slowly return your hips to the floor and then start over. Try to do this twenty times. If you can't do all 20 right away, work up to it. Go for fifty after that. This particular exercise is great for your abs and for losing the muffin top but it also improves your posture and helps you with your confidence levels. The Super Crunch: This is an ab exercise that should be a part of every post natal exercise routine. In this exercise, you need to lie down while keeping your knees bent and your feet sitting flat on the floor. Put your hands behind your head, breathe in and out and, while holding your abs in, lift your shoulders and head off of the floor. Stay in that position as you lift your knees up to touch your elbows while you also lift your hips up off of the ground a little bit. Slowly put your body back into its beginning position. The goal is to do between twelve and twenty reps of this, which will help get your abs into fabulous shape in no time (which is just how fast you will lose the weight too). Walking: Harvard did a study in 2007 that showed just thirty minutes of walking every day can greatly improve a woman's chances of shedding her pregnancy weight. Women in this study lost an average of eleven pounds and most of them had lost all of the weight they wanted to lose by their kids's first birthdays. Therefore, you need to go outside and get some fresh air! It doesn't matter when you choose to walk, but if you are going to take your son or daughter with you then you need to make sure that the weather outside is agreeable for your baby. Take lots of fluids with you when you go. Taking a walk every day will help you drop pounds very quickly. If you keep up with these exercises three or more days a week and eating right you will shed that baby weight fast. Keep it up and in just a few weeks you should be able to see great results, which should give you the motivation to continue until all of your pregnancy weight is gone.
